The Barony of Lovel as well as the Baronies of Holand, Deincourt and Grey of Rotherfield, were held by the 1st Viscount Lovel from 4 Jan 1482/3 until 7 Nov 1485, when he was attainted following the defeat of King Richard III and his supporters at the Battle of Bosworth a few months earlier on 22 August and all his peerages were forfeited.
