On the death of the 4th Viscount of Dunbar the Viscountcy of Dunbar became dormant and the family estates passed to his nephew, Cuthbert Tunstall. There are probably numerous male descendants of the ancestors of the grantee, one of whom would be entitled to this Viscountcy.
