5 Nov 2007 - warrant regarding the precedence of the Lord Chief Justice of England and the Master of the Rolls

It having been deemed expedient to effect changes to the rank and precedence of the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales and the Master of the Rolls as a result of the implementation of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 Her Majesty THE QUEEN has been graciously pleased by Warrant under Her Royal Sign Manual bearing date 5 November 2007 to ordain and declare that the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales shall be so placed in order immediately after the Lord Speaker and the Master of the Rolls shall be so placed in order immediately after Barons of the United Kingdom and Ireland since the Union including Life Peers.
