Upon the Right Honourable Julian Charles Earl of Romney having proved his succession to the Earldom of Romney THE QUEEN has been pleased by Royal Licence bearing date 26 June 2006 to declare that Lavinia, wife of Simon James Macdonald Lockhart, and Sarah, wife of Maxwell Colin Bernard Ward, sisters of the said Julian Charles, Earl of Romney, shall henceforth have, hold and enjoy the same title, rank, pre-eminence and precedence as daughters of an Earl as would have been due to them had their father, the late Peter William Marsham, survived his late kinsman, Michael Henry, Earl of Romney, and thereby succeeded to the title and dignity of Earl of Romney. And to command that the said Royal Concession and Declaration be recorded in the College of Arms.
