On the death of the 2nd Earl Grandison all his titles became extinct. The estate of Dromana. co. Waterford, i.e. "the Decies", passed to the 2nd Earl's only child, Lady Gertrude, and then on her death in 1809 to her eldest son, Henry Villiers-Stuart, who was created Baron Stuart de Decies on 10 May 1839.
