In front of a Tower proper issuant from the battlements thereof a Dragon's Head Gules a Fleur-de-lis Or all between two Ostrich Feathers Argent

On his death the Barony of Vaux of Harrowden fell into abeyance between his surviving sister,  Hon Joyce Vaux, a nun at Eye, and the heirs of his two deceased sisters:  (1) Hon Mary Symeon, wife of Sir George Symeon, of Britwell, co. Oxford;  and (2) Hon Catherine Nevill, second wife of Henry [Nevill], 2nd Baron Bergavenny.  The Barony of Vaux of Harrowden was called out of abeyance after almost 176 years on 12 Mar 1838 in favour of:

On his death the Barony of Vaux of Harrowden fell into abeyance between his three daughters by his first wife:  (1) Hon Grace Mary Eleanor Gilbey, wife of William Gordon Gilbey, of The Grove, Denham, co. Buckingham;  (2) Hon Gladys Flora Charlton, wife of George Victor Bellasis Charlton;  and (3) Hon Dorothy Alice Mostyn.  The abeyance was terminated on 8 Jul 1938 in favour of the eldest daughter:
