Until such time as he marries and has a son or sons, the 8th Baron Kilmaine is the last living male line descendant of the 4th Baron Kilmaine.  The 3rd Baron Kilmaine left only daughters, so the heir presumptive to the Barony of Kilmaine will be found amongst the other male line descendants of either the 2nd Baron Kilmaine (descendants of Noel Francis Browne, d. 3 Apr 1943), or of the 1st Baron Kilmaine (descendants of Hon George Browne, d. 26 Nov 1804).
