A Falcon Sable armed and belled Or supporting with the dexter claw a representation of the Silver Staff of Office of the President of the Royal College of Physicians of London proper


Dexter:  a Lion statant guardant Or gorged with a Coronet composed of Fleurs-de-lis Argent set upon a Rim gobony Silver and Azure holding in the interior paw a Pomegranate slipped proper;  Sinister:  a Griffin Gold beaked Gules gorged with a like Coronet holding in the interior claw a Poppy slipped also proper


Above the Crest:  Sum Ergo Cogito (I am, therefore I think);  Below the Shield:  Mene Stella Cerebri (The mind is the star of the brain)
